Meditating for at least five minutes a day has physiological (body) Psychological (mind) and spiritual benefits. Whether it is a silent meditation, mantra or walking, take time out. Meditation is not about emptying the mind, it is about slowing down and using your breath to bring peace into the mind and body. No 'to do' lists, issues, events…just be. I find that if I can't sleep because I have task over task churning through my mind, I note the items, with a solution and time….bingo, you will find you will let them go.
